About Majo

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a Concentration in Globalization. In March 2022 I completed the University of California San Diego's Certification to become an independent educational consultant. I have been the part-time College Counselor for Preparatoria ALFA Fundación since May 2024 and full-time college counselor at The American School Foundation of Monterrey since February 2025. I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, helping students use the college preparation and application process to mindfully explore and choose who they want to become as young adults. When you work with me, you should look forward to clear expectations, adaptability to your unique needs and consistent ethics. I abide by all the International Association for College Admission Counseling codes. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and specialize in helping hispanic & Latinx students in the US and Latin America.
